Rating Radar
Dashboard
Complete guide to working with the dashboard for tracking branch ratings and customer reviews.
1 Logging into the system
Rating Radar Dashboard is accessible via a web browser. To log in, enter the dashboard URL in your browser. The system will greet you with a login page where you enter the credentials (e-mail and password) provided by your administrator.
Login credentials are issued by your system administrator. If you do not have access or have forgotten your password, contact your administrator or support at [email protected].
◈ After logging in
After a successful login, the left sidebar appears with a menu of all dashboard sections. Your user name is visible in the top-right corner of the page. The dashboard automatically opens on the Trends section.
3 Common filters
Every section has a filter panel at the top of the page. When you change a filter, the data in the table or chart updates immediately. Filters can be combined freely.
Selects the time span of the data. Clicking the field opens a calendar picker. Sections that compare two periods let you set Date Range 1 (the reference, older period) and Date Range 2 (the current, newer period).
Selects one or more regions. Click the drop-down to tick or untick the desired regions. CZ and SK regions are available, along with the aggregate entries Overall ALL, Overall CZ, Overall SK.
Review source. Available sources are Google, Heureka and MapyCz. Any combination can be selected.
Branch type: Own — own stores, or Partner — partner stores. You can filter for either type or both.
Tip: For the most accurate comparison, set equally long intervals in the two-period sections (e.g. 3 months vs. 3 months from the previous year).
4 Trends
The Trends page is the dashboard's default view. It offers four concise tables that immediately show where things are improving or deteriorating.
↑ Best Rating — Highest scores
The three branches with the highest average rating in the current period. Table columns:
- Branch — branch name and its type (Own or Partner)
- Count — number of ratings in the period
- Actual Rating — average score (0–5)
↓ Worst Rating — Lowest scores
The three branches with the lowest average rating. Use this as a warning of branches that need attention. Columns are identical to the Best Rating table.
↗ Improvement — Biggest improvements
The three branches whose ratings improved the most over the tracked period. Columns:
- Branch — branch name
- Delta — percentage change of the rating (shown in green as a positive value)
- Count — number of ratings at the start / end of the tracked period (e.g. 688 / 699)
↘ Deterioration — Biggest drops
The three branches with the most pronounced drop in ratings. The delta is shown in red as a negative value. Use this as a priority list for action.
Note: Data in the Trends section reflects the configured Date Range filter. The default range is the last 30 days — adjust the filters for a different comparison.
5 Regions table
This section shows ratings aggregated at the region level. It lets you compare any two time periods and identify the regions where customer ratings are shifting.
⊞ Table structure
The table is split into five column groups:
- Basic Info — Country, Region, number of branches in the region
- All Time — overall average rating across the full data history
- Rating Range 1 — average, number of ratings and number of reviews in the first (reference) period
- Rating Range 2 — the same data for the second (current) period
- Difference — absolute rating difference, percentage change and a trend arrow (↑ improvement / ↓ decline)
↕ Sorting
Each column can be sorted ascending or descending by clicking the ▲ ▼ arrows in the table header. The default sort is alphabetical by region.
◫ Pagination
The table shows 15 rows per page by default. The page size can be changed in the Per page field. Move between pages with the ← → buttons at the bottom of the table. The total number of records is shown next to the navigation (e.g. 1–15 of 23).
6 Regions graph
Visual development of region ratings over time
The Regions graph section displays a line chart of the average rating of selected regions over the chosen time range. The X axis represents time (by month) and the Y axis the average rating. Each selected region appears as a separate coloured line.
Available filters: Date Range, Regions, Sources, Branch Types.
∿ Working with the chart
- Legend — colour-coded lines for each region (e.g. Overall ALL, Overall CZ, Overall SK). Click an item in the legend to temporarily hide or show its line.
- Zoom In / Zoom Out — zoom in or out on the time axis using the magnifier buttons in the top-right corner of the chart.
- Selection Zoom — click and drag across part of the chart to zoom into a specific time window for a closer look.
- Reset Zoom — returns the chart to the default view covering the entire selected time range.
- Tooltip — hover over any point of the chart to see the exact rating value for that month across all displayed regions.
↓ Exporting the chart
Click the menu icon ≡ in the top-right corner of the chart to open the export options:
- Download SVG — vector format suitable for high-quality printing and presentations
- Download PNG — raster image suitable for embedding in documents or e-mails
- Download CSV — the underlying numerical data of the chart in tabular form
Recommendation: For a clear chart, select at most 3–5 regions at a time in the Regions filter. With too many regions the lines overlap and the chart becomes hard to read.
7 Branches table
Detailed overview of individual branch ratings
Branches table is the most detailed tabular view in the dashboard. It works with individual branches — not regional aggregates — and lets you compare the rating of each location across two selected time periods.
Available filters: Date Range 1, Date Range 2, Regions, Sources, Branch Types. A Search field is also available for text searches in branch names and addresses.
🔍 Searching the table
The Search field (magnifier icon) at the top of the table provides instant text filtering — you can search by branch name, address or region. The number of matching records is shown in the field's placeholder (e.g. Search 48 records…).
- Country — country (CZ / SK)
- Region — region or area
- Name — exact branch address
- Branch Type — Own own store or Partner partner store
- Rating — average rating across the entire available history
- Count of ratings — total number of ratings in the history
- Count of reviews — total number of ratings that include a written review
- Average — average rating in the period
- Count — number of ratings in the period
- With review — number of ratings that include a written comment
- Difference — absolute change of the average rating (Range 2 − Range 1)
- Difference (%) — relative change in percent
- Trend — trend arrow: ↑ improvement ↓ decline → no change
↕ Sorting and pagination
Every column can be sorted by clicking the ▲ ▼ arrows in the header. The default page size is 15 and can be changed in the Per page field. Move between pages with the ← and → buttons at the bottom of the table.
8 Branches graph
Visual development of an individual branch's ratings over time
The Branches graph section displays a line chart of the rating development for one specific selected branch. Unlike Regions graph, you pick a specific location here, not a region — useful for an in-depth analysis of a single branch.
Available filters: Date Range, Regions, Sources, Branch Types and Branch (selection of a specific branch).
⌇ Selecting a branch
The Branch drop-down lets you search for and select a specific branch. First set the Regions and Branch Types filters so the relevant branches appear in the list, then click the desired location. The chart loads automatically once a branch is selected.
∿ Working with the chart
Chart controls are identical to the Regions graph section: Zoom In, Zoom Out, Selection Zoom and Reset Zoom are available. Hover over a chart point to see the exact rating value for that month. Chart export (SVG, PNG, CSV) is accessible via the ≡ icon in the top-right corner.
Tip: If the chart stays empty after selecting a branch, check the Date Range filter — the branch may have no ratings in that period. Widen the time range or change the source.
9 Star ratings graph
Distribution of star ratings
The Star ratings graph section displays a bar chart (histogram) of the distribution of ratings by number of stars — from 0 to 5 stars in 0.5 steps. The chart makes it easy to see at a glance whether customers tend to rate at the extremes (1 or 5 stars) or in a balanced way.
Available filters: Date Range, Regions, Sources, Branch Types.
★ Reading the chart
- X axis — individual star values (0, 0.5, 1, 1.5 … 4.5, 5 stars)
- Y axis — number of ratings for that value (Count)
- Coloured bars — every region selected in the filter has its own colour; the legend appears below the chart (e.g. Overall ALL, Overall CZ, Overall SK)
- Tooltip — hover over a bar to see the exact number of ratings for that star value in each displayed region
↓ Exporting the chart
Via the menu icon ≡ in the top-right corner of the chart you can download the visual as SVG, PNG or its underlying data as CSV.
Interpretation: A high count of 1-star or zero-star ratings (0–1 stars) signals strong customer dissatisfaction and requires immediate attention. The ideal distribution shows a clear dominance at the 4–5 star values.
10 Reviews
Overview and management of individual customer reviews
The Reviews section is the central place for working with individual customer reviews. It shows reviews from all connected platforms, lets you filter and browse them, and view a detail including the option to record a reply.
Available filters: Date Range, Regions, Sources, Branch Types, Branches (specific branches), Review Content (with text only / without text / all) and Star Rating (filter by star count). The Search text field provides full-text search across review content.
⊞ Reviews table structure
- State — branch country (CZ / SK)
- Region — branch region or area
- Name — branch name
- Type — branch type (Own / Partner)
- Source — platform the review comes from (Google, Heureka, MapyCz)
- Rating — reviewer's star rating (0–5 stars)
- Reviewer — reviewer's name (if available)
- Datetime — date and time the review was published
- Review text — text content of the review, truncated; the full text is available in the detail. Reviews without text are marked as (No text).
- Answer — reply status: Unanswered (gray — no reply yet), Unanswered (green — review marked internally as resolved), Pending Approval (orange — draft awaiting admin approval), Failed (red — sending failed), Published (green — reply published on the source platform).
- Detail — two action buttons per review (see below)
★ Average rating
The Average Rating value is displayed above the table — the average rating across all reviews matching the current filters, including a star visualisation. It updates dynamically with every filter change.
Review detail — View button (eye)
Click the icon (eye) in the Detail column to open a panel with the full review content. The panel shows:
- Reviewer — reviewer's name
- Date and time — exact publication date
- Rating — stars and numerical value
- Location — branch country and region, name and identifier
- Review text — full customer review text
- Answer — operator's reply (if it exists) or a Write a reply… field for entering a reply
Close the panel by clicking the Close button or by clicking outside the panel.
Mark as done — Mark button (check)
Click the icon (green check) in the Detail column to mark the review as resolved — the gray Unanswered badge turns green.
Once marked, the icon changes to (orange arrow), which lets you undo the mark.
Reviews can be marked as resolved even without a reply — the action can be reverted at any time.
Note: After saving, a reply is not automatically published on the source platform (Google, Heureka, etc.). It can only be published from the admin Approval Queue section after the administrator approves and sends it.
↕ Sorting and pagination
All table columns can be sorted by clicking the ▲ ▼ arrows in the header. The default sort is newest review first. Pagination works the same as in the other tables — Per page sets the row count, ← and → move between pages.
11 Data export
Downloading data from tables and charts
The dashboard offers data export in two places: directly from charts and from data tables. Exported data always reflects the current filter selection.
↓ Export from tables (CSV)
In the Regions table, Branches table and Reviews sections, a CSV export is available at the bottom of the page. Two header localisation variants are offered:
- CSV with Czech localization — column headers in Czech, suitable for internal reports and sharing with Czech-speaking teams
- CSV with English localization — column headers in English, suitable for processing in an international setting or in analytics tools
Next to the buttons there is also a direct-download icon ↓ for a quick export without choosing a localisation.
↓ Export from charts (SVG / PNG / CSV)
In the Regions graph, Branches graph and Star ratings graph sections, the menu icon ≡ is in the top-right corner of every chart. Clicking it reveals these options:
- Download SVG — vector format that preserves quality at any zoom level; suitable for print or embedding in presentations
- Download PNG — raster image; suitable for e-mails, reports or quick sharing
- Download CSV — the numerical data displayed in the chart in tabular form for further processing in Excel or another tool
Tip: Always check your filter settings before exporting. Only data matching the current selection is exported into the CSV — not the entire database.
12 Profile and logout
Managing your user account
◯ User profile
The name of the logged-in user is displayed in the top-right corner of every dashboard page, alongside the profile icon. Clicking this area opens a small panel with the details of the signed-in account.
→ Logout
To log out, click your user name in the top-right corner. A panel with a logout icon opens. Clicking it safely logs you out of the system and redirects you back to the login page. We recommend logging out whenever you finish using the dashboard, especially on shared devices.
Login session: The dashboard may automatically end the session after a longer period of inactivity. In that case you will be redirected to the login page — simply sign in again and continue your work. Filter settings reset to their defaults after re-login.

13 Approval Queue
Administrator section — approving replies to reviews
For administrators only. The Approval Queue section is visible exclusively to users with administrator rights. Regular users will not see it in the navigation panel.
The Approval Queue section serves as an approval queue for replies to customer reviews. It shows reviews for which a member of staff has prepared a reply draft (Reply draft) and which are waiting for the administrator's approval and dispatch. The workflow ensures that no reply is sent to a customer without final sign-off.
Available filters: Date Range, Regions, Sources, Branch Types, Branches, Star Rating. The Search text field provides full-text search across queue records.
⊞ Table structure
The table only shows reviews that have a prepared reply draft. Columns:
- State — branch country (CZ / SK)
- Region — branch region or area
- Name — branch name
- Type — branch type (Own / Partner)
- Source — platform the review comes from (Google, Heureka, MapyCz)
- Rating — customer star rating (0–5)
- Reviewer — reviewer's name (if available)
- Datetime — date and time the review was published
- Review text — truncated customer review text
- Reply draft — the reply draft prepared by the staff member
- Draft author — e-mail of the staff member who prepared the draft
- Status — current record status (see below)
- Actions — action buttons for managing the record
◉ Review statuses (Status)
Every review in the queue has an assigned status indicating its progress in the approval process:
- Pending Approval — the reply draft is waiting for the administrator's approval; it cannot be sent yet (the administrator may edit the reply before sending).
- Processing — the reply is being sent to the source platform.
- Failed — sending the reply failed; it needs to be resent.
Opening review detail — Open in modal button
Click the Open in modal button (eye icon) in the Actions column to open a panel with a complete overview of the review and the option to edit the reply. The panel contains:
- Review ID — internal record identifier
- Date and time of the review
- Rating — stars and numerical value
- Status — current status (Pending Approval / Processing / Failed)
- Source — platform (Google, Heureka, MapyCz)
- Location — country, area and branch name, including the internal identifier
- Reviewer — reviewer's name
- Review text — full customer review text
- Answer — editable text field with the reply draft; the text can be edited before approval
✎ Editing the reply draft in the modal
The Answer field in the modal is fully editable. The administrator can adjust the draft text freely before sending. After a change is made, the following buttons activate:
- Save and Send — saves the edited reply and sends it to the customer on the source platform. This is the main approval action.
- Save — saves the edited reply as a new draft without sending; the record stays in the Pending Approval state for later dispatch.
Close the panel with the Close button or by clicking outside the modal window.
✓ Quick approval — Approve and send button
Next to the Open in modal button, the Actions column also contains the Approve and send button (paper airplane send icon). It is used to quickly approve and dispatch the reply draft directly from the table, without opening the detail in the modal. The reply is sent in its current draft form without the option to edit. Only use this option if the draft text is completely fine.
Important: The Save and Send and Approve and send actions are irreversible — the reply is sent to the source platform immediately (Google, Heureka, MapyCz). Always check the reply text before approving, especially for reviews with the Failed status, where a previous send attempt may have already occurred.
↕ Sorting, pagination and export
The table supports sorting by any column by clicking the ▲ ▼ arrows in the header. Page size is set in the Per page field. CSV export is available in two header language variants — CZ (Czech) or EN (English) — or via the direct-download icon.
Review reply workflow: The standard procedure is that a regular staff member prepares a reply draft in the Reviews section (the Write a reply field in the review detail). The draft then appears automatically in the administrator's Approval Queue, who reviews it, edits it if needed, and approves it for dispatch.
